"If you're able to be yourself, then you
have no competition. All you have to do is get closer and closer to that
essence."
— Barbara Cook
When you watch groups of young children and
groups of adults play, chances are you will notice how children have
freedom of personal expression. Children are less prone to worry about
whether their socks match or they say just the right thing, and are more
likely to spontaneously do and say things that inspires them. We recognize
inspiration when we see it in performers and artists, and we appreciate
feeling the very essence of who we are when we are engaged in doing what we
love with those we love. Finding the essence of who you are can be found
through play, meditation, and asking yourself who you truly are.
Just as you could discern the difference between a human being and a
physical zombie that looks and behaves like a human, but has no human
conscious states, you can tell when you feel like you’re being
fully yourself. Being yourself includes focusing on what matters to you,
and caring about those you love. There’s a sparkle in your eye
and a spring in your step when you’re being yourself that is
just about completely the opposite from how you feel when going through the
motions without feeling fully involved. And when you feel fully involved,
you are most likely to experience some of the most amazing reality shifts
and quantum jumps.
I was mulling over what matters most to me a few days ago, appreciating to
myself how I feel certain that every good thing comes from Spirit, comes
from God. I was feeling deeply appreciative of how health, wealth,
happiness, luck, and wisdom seem empty to me without
Spirit—without God. I was driving my car while feeling this
sense of reverence and deep connection, when I heard a sudden "Pow!" noise,
followed by intermittent hissing and a kind of "Thwup-thwup-thwup" sound as
the steering became less fluid and the front right side of the car went
slightly down—the distinctive sound and felt the distinctive
feel of my car’s right front tire going flat.
"Oh, no,” I thought, as I found a clear place to pull the
car over and park. I got out of the driver’s side door and
walked around the front of my car to inspect the right front tire. What I
saw confounded me—the right front tire looked good. I walked
back to the driver’s side door, and then thought to myself,
“No way!” and returned to take a second look,
much closer this time. The tire appeared to be completely inflated, with no
indication of any type of trouble. From what I’d just felt and
heard, including during the time I’d driven seeking a safe place
to pull over and park, I expected to see the car had been driving on a
deflated tire, riding on the rim of the right front wheel. But there was no
mistaking that this tire looked good. I returned again to the
driver’s side, sat down behind the wheel, started the engine,
and slowly pulled back onto the road, listening with windows open for any
unusual sounds. With heightened sensitivity, I heard the gravelly noise of
tires rolling over asphalt—apparently the normal noise of
driving down the street.
I checked the tire at the parking garage, and again when I got
home—and every time I looked, I saw that it was fine. As the
flat tire had vanished before I’d seen it, the memory of what I
heard and felt seemed more distant. I began to doubt that I’d
really heard and felt a flat tire, but also had a nagging suspicious that
it might actually be flat, and the air pressure should be checked. After
all tires were checked, I was stunned to learn that one of them was fully
inflated to manufacturer’s specifications—the right
front tire! All the rest were slightly deflated, as is normal after having
driven for some time.
One might think I’d be properly wowed by all this, but instead I
found this reality shift a bit hard to wrap my mind around. I thought to
myself, “You must be confused. You must be mistaken. No way
could something like this happen—it’s just too
unusual, to improbable. I’ve never heard of such a thing.
Therefore, it’s much more likely that for some bizarre reason I
mistakenly heard and felt indications that seemed to suggest my car was
experiencing a flat tire, when it actually
wasn’t.” Part of the reason I initially
disregarded such a miraculous reality shift had to do with the way I was
able to remember hearing and feeling a flat tire—and also at the
same time feeling that was a distant far-off reality, due to my feeling
this reality shift was just a bit too far out, even for me.
The next day, I learned my phone answering machine was full of
messages—dating back to 2012! I like to archive some of the
messages from friends and family before erasing them from the answering
machine, and I’d just two months earlier transferred the phone
recordings. So how could the machine be full of messages again? I found my
cassette tape and recorder, and froze in confusion and astonishment as I
held them in my hands. The batteries in my tape recorder were old and
starting to leak, the cassette tape cases were dusty, and my handwriting on
the cassette indicated I’d last archived phone messages in 2012.
After the batteries were replaced in the tape recorder, I heard a recording
of my own voice ending the last recorded phone messages stating the year
was 2012. “What?! This doesn’t make
sense—I just transferred phone messages a couple of months
ago!” I had replaced the batteries, dusted all the cassette
cases, written notes on the cassette, recorded my voice with the year
2015—but now there was no record of any of that. The dust, my
voice on the recording saying 2012 , and my handwriting on the cassette
with the 2012 date all begged to differ with what I knew to be true, but
now had no record for.
After finding a new cassette tape to record on, with the message transfer
once more underway, I wondered, “What on Earth is the point
of having to do all this work over again?!” I then
remembered how I’d disregarded the miracle I’d just
experienced with my instantly-repaired flat tire. While it is true that car
miracles tend to be more common—probably partly due to people
being in relaxed, meditative states of mind while driving—this
car miracle was different. I’d just started driving and was
engaged in heartfelt morning prayers that morning. I was in a very high
state of grace, rather than relaxed meditation, feeling about the highest
level of reverence and rapture I can sustain while driving a car. This is
probably the most important detail in my experience, since it feels a lot
to me like "God fixed my flat tire. Instantly. With perfect inflation to
exact manufacturer specs." I've never before had a reality shift quite like
this one, which is probably why I felt initially inclined to dismiss
it—since it seems so improbable as to feel it’s
almost impossible.
When feeling the frustration of having to do the work of transferring phone
messages all over again, while observing how my methodical record-keeping
was so different than expected (notes on the cassette tape showing 2012
rather than 2015, voiceover recording of the 2012 date, and placement of
the tape after the last transfer of messages, with dust over everything as
if it had been sitting undisturbed for years) really drove home the point
for me that there is no limit to how big or fast things can change. Even
and including instantaneously fixed flat tires that get fixed faster than
you can even see! Especially when you've just been thanking God with all
your heart and soul for bringing every good thing to be.
Being yourself is a process of discovering just how good your life can be
when you stay focused on how good your life can get. Keep asking
“How good can it get?!” as you focus on how you can
utilize your unique gifts in service to the world at the highest level
possible. By acknowledging a sense of how your life can be much larger and
more fulfilling than ever before, you access the level of infinite, eternal
consciousness where the most extraordinary reality shifts and quantum jumps
occur.

How to Break Cell Phone
Addiction
Have you noticed signs of cell phone addiction in yourself
or others?
Maybe you’ve tried to get someone’s attention, and
found they were so deeply ensconced in their cellphone that they were
completely oblivious to you and pretty much everyone and everything around
them. Or perhaps you’ve noticed you’re spending just
a bit too much time on your phone when you dozed off with cellphone in
hand, texted someone standing next to you, or grabbed your phone before
doing anything else when you woke up. Cell phones can do a marvelous job of
helping us stay connected with friends, family, and colleagues, but they
can also be a bit addictive. Good news! You can break the addiction to
constantly check your cell phone by utilizing the concept of the Quantum
Zeno mechanism for mental control over bodily action. Dr. Henry Stapp
describes a little bit about how this works in a paper he presented at the
2014 Foundations of Mind conference, Mind, Brain and Neuroscience, about a
way of better understanding the role of free will. Dr. Henry Stapp, a
colleague of Wolfgang Pauli and Werner Heisenberg, emphasizes the
significance of our choices in influencing the realities we experience:

Interview
with Cynthia Sue Larson on the nature of the universe
After writing a review for my book, Quantum Jumps, author,
mudsmith and psychologist Dr. Bob Rich asked my
permission to interview me. He asked some questions that nobody has
previously asked me, such as, "What was it like to be a female Physics
student at University?” and we had a fascinating conversation
about anomalous events, teleportation, quantum technologies and
consciousness. You can join the dialogue by adding comments, questions,
observations and ideas in the comment section at the bottom of this
interview, and I would love to know what you think!
The interview starts like this:
BOB: What was it like to be a female Physics student at
University?
CYNTHIA: I’d love to say "No big deal," but the truth is
I felt keenly aware of being one of a handful of women physics majors at UC
Berkeley. I was painfully shy during my college years, so I mostly remember
wishing I could just blend in, while knowing that was simply not going to
be an option, when there were just five or six women physics majors total
on campus. I remember having an initial sinking feeling with mostly
subconscious doubts along the lines of, “Women must not be good
at physics,” followed immediately by my conscious thoughts of,
“Lots of women just like me are great at physics!”
I’m glad I talked back to my subconscious doubts, because that
gave me enough of an emotional energy boost to do my best.
The New
Science of Instant Transformation
Quantum jumping is an everyday experience for us each time
we jump out of bed on mornings we’d rather not get up, or feel
noticeable improvement when our mother puts a Band-Aid on our knee and
"kisses the boo-boo better." Shamans utilize quantum jumping when they
assist people with healing, and the ever-increasing “placebo
effect” in modern-day western medicine indicates people are
increasingly accessing parallel worlds where they are healthy and well.
Feeling stuck in a dead-end job or relationship, or longing for a fresh new
start in life? Quantum Jumping shows how if you can imagine or dream it,
you can take a leap into a wonderful new world. Quantum jumps require both
a flash of insight that a new reality is possible, and a burst of
sufficient energy to make the leap. Those decisive instants when we feel
simultaneously energized by knowledge of a better reality and inspired to
act are the moments that we make quantum jumps.
Woman Miraculously Recovered After
Stillbirth
Hernando
Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA
In 1962 I was a young doctor in Colombia, South America; just out of
medical school. After completing my year of internship, we were required
then to work in a rural area for one year prior to getting the MD degree,
and I chose Barichara, a beautiful small town, which had a nice hospital.
I was the only doctor in town and on Nov 24, I got a call from the mother
superior, Sister Teresa who was the administrator of the hospital, to let
me know that she had received a phone call telling her that there was a
woman on the way to the hospital, coming from a farm up in the mountains
who was ready to deliver a baby but had been bleeding for 2 days and was
very sick. The only way to get her to the hospital was by horseback and the
husband was bringing her. I asked her to let me know as soon as she got to
the hospital.
Around 6 pm the woman arrived and I was there within 5 minutes. When I
examined her, I noted she was in shock, no blood pressure, pulse hardly
palpable, very week and extremely pale from anemia caused by persistent
bleeding. She looked more like a dead body. The fetus had no heart beat, it
was already dead. I determined that the only chance she had was to perform
an immediate cesarean section.
Since she was unconscious, I did not bother to give her a spinal
anesthesia. I removed the dead fetus, and as if this were not enough, as I
was doing the surgery I realized she had developed a fatal complication
called consumption coagulopathy, a condition in which the blood loses the
ability to clot and it is impossible to stop the bleeding. The uterus had a
generalized oozing that could not be stopped with sutures. I felt that she
probably had no more blood left to lose.
During the whole procedure she never had a blood pressure, and we were
unable to transfuse her because the equipment we had requested had not
arrived. For all practical purposes she was dead, except that she had an
occasional breath. Knowing that there was no hope, I closed the uterus, but
did not bother to close the fascia or muscles, just closed the skin.
I talked to Sister Teresa about the hopeless situation, but, she insisted
that she would not die. I said to her: Sister, If she does not die I will
quit medicine because all that they have taught me is false.
The next morning I came to make rounds. I asked Sister Teresa at what time
she had died. She had a grin in her face as she said: I told you she would
make it, you just don’t have faith, come I will show you. I
found the patient sitting up in bed, having breakfast. Her chicks were
pink, she was cheerful, had no further bleeding and the inner aspect of her
eye lids were red. Vital signs were normal, she had obviously materialized
out of thin air at least 6 units of blood !!!
I had to take her to the OR the next day to close her surgical wound
adequately. She left the hospital a few days later, her wound well healed,
happy, as though nothing had happened.
To this day, I have no explanation for that miracle. It is possible that
Sister Teresa’s faith was so unshaken that she switched to a
parallel universe where the patient never bled?
Note from Cynthia: Thank you so very much for sharing with me the
letter to Ms. Owens, recounting your remarkable miraculous experience in
Columbia in 1962. I appreciate your recollection of precise details
regarding the medical condition of the pregnant woman in your care at that
time, and your honest assessment that with the serious condition of
consumption coagulopathy, her prognosis looked grim. Yes, this does appear
to be an example of consciousness moving to another parallel reality in
which the woman could fully recover. It's been my experience that the
presence of a person of faith can be highly conducive to miraculous healing
results, which seems to have been the case at this time. I find your
first-hand account to be tremendously inspirational and uplifting, as well
as providing well-documented evidence of a remarkable medical miracle--and
quantum jump.

I wanted to briefly relate an experience that happened to me a couple of
days ago. Basically I went out for the afternoon and when I returned I went
into my bedroom and froze! The whole room felt slightly different. Indeed,
my bedside cabinet was angled slightly differently, the chair looked like
it had been moved and some books on the other bedside cabinet looked like
they were in a different place. It all felt so different that I thought I
had disturbed a thief. I went round the apartment but there were no signs
of a disturbance and everything was locked form the inside (wooden Italian
window shutters have locks on them) and in any case I live at the top of a
condo with a sheer drop to the ground that even Spiderman might find a bit
of a challenge.
So ... maybe I had stepped into a different place? But why? and how? and to
what purpose?
Prior to this experience, I had spent some weeks strongly wanting to get
free from a specific personal situation that had occupied my mind a lot.
Prior to returning home on that day, I had been in a very emotionally
charged situation. This situation does feel different now actually. Maybe
I'm putting 2 and 2 together and coming-up with 5! Dunno - was a strange
experience though.
Note from Cynthia: Strong emotions are often associated with
powerful reality shift experiences--so it makes sense to me that you'd just
been through a very emotionally charged situation after strongly desiring a
change in a specific personal situation.
Entry Code Change
Brian
Winslow, Maine, USA
Cynthia, I find Reality Shifting bizarre and not a little unsettling since
it's happened to me several times in my life. The most recent event
happened this week when I tried to gain access to my workplace via the
numeric keypad attached to the outside wall. I punched in the usual four
digit combination, as I had done for months prior, only to be rewarded with
the red LED of no admittance, instead of the welcoming green. The door
remained stubbornly locked, and after several more failed attempts I went
inside by a different entrance with a different code.
Later in the day I tracked down the maintenance department and asked them
what the new code was. They denied the code had been changed. Feeling a
bit spooked I left them, went outside, and tried the code I knew, only to
again be met with a locked door. Eerily, a coworker arrived at that
moment, saw my fumbling, and easily entered the code for us both to get
inside. She recited it aloud for my benefit, perhaps thinking I had
forgotten. The only thing was, the new code had a single digit different
from the one I knew.
Such a subtle reality shift, such a tiny blip of change, but I am wondering
what else has been altered in my environment, indeed, the whole world at
large? Are words in my books changed, new, or omitted? Are the fluid
levels in my car different? Are my colleagues different versions of the
ones I've worked with who now have alternate memories of me? Was there a
single event somewhere, somewhen which has fractured spacetime in this
manner? Is this all a side-effect of DNA division? Or the cause?
Whatever the origin, it is a most peculiar phenomenon in that the shifts
are minute, small change sort of alterations which don't send the general
population into panic. They just fascinate and provide stock for wonder
and maybe a little worry.
I have a copy of Reality Shifts that I found
engrossing. Now, hopefully it's the same version that you actually
remember writing—That’s the thing, isn't it?
Personally, I'd feel even more unnerved if things suddenly appeared from
nowhere, like the sausages you mentioned. It's a matter of trust in the
universe, I suppose. If stuff comes and goes, winks in and out of
existence, how does one dare to take a step?! Rags and riches woven from
the same illusory cloth which unravels with deep inspection.
I suspect someone elsewhere has already put together a quantum computer and
turned it on, and the wretched machine is overwriting everything everywhere
because its memory core is infinite with data containment failure.
Note from Cynthia: Thanks so much for writing to me about the
change in building access code at your workplace. Yes, very often reality
shifts can be subtle ones with very minor changes from what had been
familiar before--and sometimes they can be much bigger, such as influence
life-and-death. As I've written in my book, Reality Shifts, words in books
definitely can change. I've previously reported incidents experienced by
myself and others in the RealityShifters ezine of movie content
changing--sometimes even the most significant scenes in movies have
changed, which can also influence the duration and length of a movie. Fluid
levels in your car can indeed be different, or as happened for me
yesterday, a tire that had just gone flat with a sound of rolling on tire
rims being instantly changed to a tire that is now the most inflated tire
on my car (I pulled over right away to inspect the tire, and again checked
it later that day). I discuss in both my books Reality Shifts and Quantum
Jumps the ways that yes, your colleagues most likely are different versions
of the ones you've worked with who do have different alternate memories of
you--and this is also true of your early childhood friends and family
members. Rather than a single fracturing event, this is part of the
intrinsic quantum logic nature of reality itself, which mankind is only now
fully beginning to appreciate, thanks to our search for scientific and
technological mastery of quantum physics required to build, operate, and
program quantum computers.
Opened Box of Mustard is Sealed Again
Jo
Bournemouth, Dorset, UK
On 11th June 2015, I made up some mustard to accompany a meal I was
preparing. I prefer to make mustard from the powder rather than use the
already prepared tube variety. I had 2 boxes of mustard in the cupboard, as
I mistakenly bought and opened another one some time ago, thinking I needed
a new box. Since both boxes were now opened, I thought I would use the
contents of the soonest to expire box first, in this case, the one that had
a ‘best before date’ of October 2015. The other box
has a best before date of August 2016.
Anyway, I reached into the cupboard and brought out both boxes, just as I
had a number of times before. But this time, I was surprised to see that
one of the boxes was sealed. This was the box that I was going to use and
had last made mustard from only 2 days before! I was amazed to see that its
seal was now intact. I remember that I opened it a while back, cutting
around the seal with a sharp knife.
Now the box remains in its new unopened state as I write this, a week
later. Will it stay that way? Well, for the moment at least,
it’s a tangible reminder and ‘proof’ for
me that alternative reality states really do exist. It's strange about the
mustard.
There was a significant time between buying both- I can't remember how
long.
But the spooky bit is that on 9th June when I made mustard and when both
boxes were unsealed, I had the lids off of both boxes and was thinking how
funny it was to have 2 boxes opened as well as wondering which box would
provide better tasting mustard. Silly really, but it was memorable and
helps me trust my 'memory' and experience on this peculiar happening. (Or
was I dreaming then, or in an altered state, I ask myself!) Anyway, as soon
as I bought and got the second box home I opened it then got mildly
irritated when I noticed that there was already an opened one in the
cupboard.
Note from Cynthia: That's amazing that you remember having opened
both boxes of mustard, having opened a second one accidentally before
realizing you already had a box in the cupboard--and then subsequently
noticed only one box of mustard had been opened!
Bilocation Experience
Jo
Bournemouth, Dorset, UK
During my 20’s and early 40’s especially, a number of
different people on separate occasions told me that they saw me in other
places doing different things. They sometimes said they spoke with me too
and that ‘I’ was usually outdoors in nature
somewhere.
At these times, however, I knew that I couldn’t have been in
these places because I remembered consciously where I was in each case.
I never took these ‘stories’ seriously before, but
now, having read your newsletter and Reality Shifts and Quantum Jumps
books, I’m wondering if I really could have been in two places
at once!
I'd most likely be in my favourite place if it's related to daydreaming.
Nature is where I most want to be and feel most connected. A funny peculiar
thing with these events was that people said they were convinced it was me
and that my name was "Ruth" and they knew this because they spoke to 'me'.
I always used to laugh this off and say something like, "oh yeah, that's my
twin sister skiving off work again". I don't have a twin of course, but
it's spooky how different people came up to me with similar stories calling
me Ruth and saying how they saw me in nature whenever it was. Each time I
made a joke but then told them seriously that it wasn't me and my name
wasn't Ruth. Very strange.
Note from Cynthia: I love how typically when people observed you
in places other than where you knew for sure you'd been at the time--they
saw you out in nature somewhere. That makes sense to me, since the times
I've been observed bilocating have corresponded to times I've been
daydreaming, and I can easily imagine daydreaming about being out in
nature!
A Miraculous Journey
Jo
Bournemouth, Dorset, UK
Some years ago, when I used to do onsite massage work in the corporate
world, I remember that on one particular occasion, I had a very remarkable
journey.
That day, I had a contract to work in a large office in Docklands, London.
At the time, I lived in Loughton, Essex. As I got ready to leave my flat
that morning, I got out my large A to Z map so I could plan the route. I
was fairly relaxed about this, since I thought to myself, “OK,
this contract is in Walthamstow, and I know that well enough, so finding
this place should be easy”.
Well, of course, I got the location wrong!
On checking the venue’s address, I panicked as I realised it was
a further distance away than I thought, and in a very unfamiliar area for
me. I wondered how on earth I could arrive there on time. I was suddenly
stressed and embarrassed at the thought of letting down the other massage
team members as well as the event’s organiser. I also knew that
if I didn’t show up, I’d never get another contract
with this group again.
Somehow I had to get there on time! There was no time to call a taxi or
even plan the route. So I made a decision, crazy though it sounds, to just
surrender, let go and hand over to ‘Spirit’.
I trusted that a higher wisdom already knew the way to this place and was
perfectly capable of taking me there. I got in my car, and without even
looking at the map, I prayed to be taken to the car park right by the
offices I was to work in that day. I asked to be taken there safely and
with enough time to spare so I could set up my massage table and get myself
ready to see the full schedule of clients that had already been booked in
to see me for the day.
I remember driving off in the right direction and then praying with such an
intensity and sense of trust. I handed over. I drove. I went down streets
and found myself in areas I’d never been in before. One road in
particular had a very strange quality about it. It was narrow, very long,
eerily quiet and strangely devoid of other cars! I just kept driving and
praying. After a while, I had a feeling sense that my journey was coming
to an end. Then I somehow ‘knew’ I had to stop very
soon, since I was close to my destination. I looked around for a place to
park. The area was very busy with cars, but as I approached a roundabout, I
noticed there was a petrol station just by it. I decided to stop there,
just to discover where I was!
I pulled over and parked. I went into the shop. I asked a man by the
counter if he knew where the venue was, showing him my paper with the
address written on it.
He said, “it’s over there”, as he pointed
to a large building just the other side of the roundabout. It was easily
visible from where I was standing. He told me I could also park there,
right outside the building in the large car park provided for employees
there.
I was astonished, but I don’t think I let it show. I thanked him
and quickly got back into the car. I knew I had to keep focused as my
journey wasn’t over yet.
As I pulled into the car park and parked in a slot just a few feet away
from the entrance, I noticed I was 20 minutes early!
I went into reception, and had my visitor pass organised. I got to the
event room and set up my table. I had time to get ready and then began
work.
The day went very well.
When it was time to go home, I had a long journey back. I was often stuck
in traffic and it all seemed like a busy, noisy and normal journey across
London- very different to the 'other worldly' one that I had had that
morning.
To this day, I still have questions in my mind about how it was even
possible. The times didn’t fit- I should have been late. The odd
street I went down- I don’t think it was in ‘this
world’. And I can’t prove a thing and I’m
careful who I tell this story to. But for me, it’s an example of
how anything is possible with Spirit, if I can just get myself out of the
way.
My miraculous journey was dream like but it was a specific event with many
other people involved and not a dream (as I understand it!) The most
amazing thing for me is that I got there at all and without a map or sat
nav. Normally, I have no sense of direction whatsoever.
Thanks for your work, it's helping to keep me feeling sane!
Note from Cynthia: Wow, I adore how you describe this experience!
I love reading how you recognized a need to move your consciousness to a
state of surrender to higher levels of awareness, and subsequently
experienced an extraordinary, dream-like drive in which you ended up
arriving early enough with very little traffic or traffic-related issues to
contend with. I've had a similar experience once while walking in downtown
San Francisco, realizing I'd missed meeting my friends in time to know
which restaurant they were going to for lunch--but I surrendered to a
feeling of trust and love and higher consciousness, and let my feet walk me
to where they were. And remembering having done that is one of the high
points in my life.
Hey,
I'm in a really extremely tough situation for something I did that I really
shouldn't have done. I want to know how to change the past and change what
I did so I can remove this situation from my life.
— Aaron
Dear Aaron,
While we constantly change our past, most of us are not consciously aware
of doing so, nor do we typically make radical changes to events we're
emotionally entangled with. The reason being is the emotional entanglement
typically is part and parcel of a quantum physics entanglement, meaning
once we're reacting so strongly on an emotional level to something, it's
like a dog with a bone that just won't drop that bone no matter what. So my
best advice to you is to make peace with yourself emotionally, moving
toward a state of acceptance and forgiveness of yourself, with an end goal
of getting to a place of 100% acceptance and forgiveness for yourself, at
which point you'll be detached, and can actually "drop the bone" of that
unfortunate past. There are significant spiritual advantages to attaining a
state of relaxed, energized detachment for its own sake, and that's really
the best reason to meditate and engage in spiritual practice--rather than
trying to achieve a goal with your spiritual practice. So start meditating,
tell yourself, "I love and forgive and accept myself, no matter what," and
get started on this spiritual journey. Whether or not you get proof that
the past has changed, you'll be making tremendously positive improvements
that will benefit you on every level in your life.
lots of love,
— Cynthia
___________
I’ve recently seen evidence of reality shifts
after watching your videos. Ironically a day or two before I heard of you I
had worked out the possibility that reality was as you described between my
interest in physics and recently found interest in the law of attraction as
taught by Abraham-Hicks. With all of this awareness and vibrational
evidence and positive things that have happened I’m extremely
excited. I have one serious concern. Is there a space time boom when I
shift into different realities. I’m trying to be in a reality in
which I’m successful and with my soulmate. I don’t
want any negative butterfly effect like impacts from me shifting into that
reality. Literally minutes after sending you the last email in a video I
was watching a man ask, “Am I in a f**ing alternate
universe?” While that’s humorous, all the signs of me
ending up in different universes are a bit startling. How do you stay
grounded in an ever changing world? When you’re constantly
shifting how can you tell which reality you’re from? Better yet
how can you tell which one you’re in?
— Brandon
Dear Brandon,
The experience of noticing reality shifts frequently is indeed quite
startling at first, but it is possible to become much more aware that this
is the true nature of reality, and that "I" am my consciousness--not any
particular reality or particular parallel universe. How we can "tell which
one we are in" is thus a matter of knowing that we're capable of being in
all of them--yet the "me" and "you" we truly are is not the physical
reality in any of them, but rather our consciousness. Such are the
teachings of the perennial wisdom traditions, and this new awareness also
matches the new information we are gleaning from quantum physics, as I
describe in my book, Quantum Jumps: An Extraordinary Science
of Happiness and Prosperity.

___________
Hi,
I found your site about reality shifting and was just wondering if you've
ever heard of few people all shifting realities. Into the same new one.
Thanks,
— Breona
Dear Breona,
Yes, I've documented cases in which several people have shared a reality
shift experience--noticing something has definitely changed in a big way.
Some of these experiences are documented in my book, Reality Shifts: When Consciousness
Changes the Physical World.
With love and thanks,
— Cynthia
___________
Hi Cynthia,
I’ve just read and enjoyed your book Quantum Jumps. You mentioned
meditating—what method or style of meditation do you use?
Warm Regards,
— Peter
Dear Peter,
I regularly practice several different types of meditation, including one
that's on my Aura Healing Meditations CD, walking
meditations, and meditations focused on breathing and clearing my mind. I
recently shared How
I Start My Day with a description of my current morning meditation for
the Times of India.
lots of love,
— Cynthia

Do the Clearing:
A Step-by-Step Guide to Living a Happy Life and Getting What You Want
by John Benz
How to clear possessions, thoughts, and obstacles to
your ideal life http://amzn.to/1L6Vzez
Therapist John Benz is no stranger to self-help programs,
having attended Weight Watchers meetings since age five. When Benz observed
a connection between emotions his clients felt related to their
possessions, and discovered that people who took steps to remove their
disempowering possessions made the most progress toward attaining their
goals, he took a closer look at the art of clearing.
While the concept of clearing is not entirely new--and feng shui
practitioners have been advising for years that we pay closer attention to
the objects around us and how they are arranged at work and at home--few
people explain just how powerful the process of clearing out disempowering
items can truly be.
The concept of clearing is simple. Honestly assess how you feel and what
comes to mind when you systematically view each item in your home, and toss
out everything that doesn't contribute to feeling happy and good about
yourself.
Benz appreciates that such a simple idea can sound almost crazy, but points
out that "if the memories associated with their possessions reinforced that
identity, that's exactly what they thought and what ultimately became
true."
For those of us aware of recent research in fields of embodied cognition
and the placebo effect, it's not such a stretch to recognize the immense
and well-documented power of associating who we think we are with what we
are doing, and cues from our surroundings. How we feel about our coffee
table, bookshelves, clocks, vases, and dinnerware are therefore
tremendously influential in how well we stick to our diet, master new
skills, and achieve our dreams of living healthier, happier, more
prosperous lives.
One of the things I like best about "Do the Clearing" is the down-to-Earth
way this book shares experiences people have had in clearing rooms in their
house, and immediately noticing obvious improvements in their lives. My
other favorite thing about this book is how it emphasizes the importance of
making the power question part of your life, long after your first clearing
is done.
I love how Benz points out that people become accustomed to feeling
deflated, low-energy, and uninspired, often without recognizing the
contributing factors of how everything in sight is energetically
influencing them. Benz appreciates that many people may initially think
that clearing their possessions sounds crazy. He then points out the
importance of the power question--does the item in question make you feel
powerful? If yes, it stays. If no, it goes. Benz explains, "If you are
feeling powerless, swept along by the current, then remember that
possessions have power." He continues, "Use what's around you to your
advantage. Clear what isn't powerful, and create a current that steers you
toward the life you want."
While the idea of clearing is simple, and the seven steps straightforward
and easy to do, much of the value of this book comes from the wonderful
pointers and tips for overcoming potential pitfalls along the way of
clearing out possessions, and then clearing out residual thoughts. Some of
these potential pitfalls include involving other people in your clearing
process, as outside support can be tricky. You might feel tempted, for
example, to give things to neighbors, relatives or friends--yet this is
mostly likely not in your best interest. The idea here is to remove
obstacles to feeling powerless--not to see reminders of powerlessness from
time to time.
At this point, you're likely wondering how well the ideas in this book
actually work for me. As is so often the case in my life, days before
hearing about this book, I'd synchronistically felt inspired to do what it
prescribes. I'd cleared out some items in my kitchen that had little to do
with me, and immediately noticed feeling an unexpected surge of positive
energy. While I've yet to do a complete clearing, I am now making the power
question a regular part of my life.
I highly recommend "Do the Clearing" for everyone!
