Acceptance

This quote by Lao Tzu was the most appreciated quotation that I posted on
social media this past month. It occurs to me that it may have struck a
chord with people thanks to the peaceful quality of acceptance that it
advocates. What I find most beneficial about the attitude acceptance is
the natural state of authenticity and harmony it can bring. When we feel
accepted in our homes, in our families, in our neighborhoods, and
everywhere we go, we gain a sense of gentle confidence that can grace every
event and interaction with gentle warmth and kindness.
I learned from an early age in life to draw from inner reserves of feeling
accepted when facing situations where I did not feel like I fit in. I'd
travel with my family every summer for weeks and months at a time to places
where there were no other people who looked like me. I took physics and
advanced mathematics classes in high school and college where I was usually
the only female student in the room. In these situations and many more, I
drew from a rich sense of feeling accepted in my family and in my home, in
order to not feel overwhelmed.
One of the greatest insights I'm finding as I read new reports from quantum
physics, and compare notes between cutting-edge theories and what some of
us are observing with the Mandela Effect is that our individual
observations can be completely unique to each of us. As we enter this
brave new Quantum Age, we are seeing things like a
physics
experiment that challenges objective reality. The very nature of
reality appears to be inviting us to contemplate what our worldview will
look like if we are willing to relinquish our long-standing assumption that
there can be one correct objective reality that we must all agree with.
These recent experimental studies seem to be asking us, “What if
there is no such thing as one 'true' objective reality?”
For one thing, we will stand to benefit from being a great deal more kind
and accepting of ourselves and others, if this is the case. We have an
opportunity for emotional and spiritual growth, and the invitation appears
to benefit everyone involved, in win-win-win fashion. Most likely it will
take a while before the dominant paradigm comes around to recognize the
quantum writing on the wall, indicating that the entire universe at every
level is operating according to quantum rules—as I describe in
my most recent blog post article, Quantum Supremacy, Quantum Time, and Quantum
Rules. Those of us who are already noticing alternate histories have
an opportunity now to lead the way in terms of leading by example,
demonstrating qualities such as acceptance and kindness—even and
especially when we remember things differently.
I'm feeling especially heartened by the growth of the Mandela Effect
community, who are coming together this next month to discuss the deeper
meaning and implications of reality shifts and the Mandela Effect at the
first West Coast Mandela Effect
conference, being held in Ketchum, Idaho from November 8th through the
10th. Speakers and panelists at this event include: NECS CEO Christopher
Anatra; Jerry Hicks of DarkWolf's Den; author Shane C. Robinson of Unbiased
and On The Fence; author Lauren Connell Pavelka; and artist Kimberly-Lynn

Quantum Supremacy, Quantum Time, and
Quantum Rules
Some of the world's leading experts in the field of quantum computing, such
as Scott Aaronson, sound quite enthusiastic regarding the imminent arrival
of quantum supremacy. "Quantum supremacy," is meant in this context
to suggest that quantum computing is expected at some point to be able to
out-perform classical computing by a significant margin under verifiable
(reproducible) conditions. There has been a great deal of buzz and
excitement over an anticipated announcement by Google sometime soon that
they have achieved such quantum supremacy. Having said all that, when I
think of the phrase 'quantum supremacy,' the first thing that comes to my
mind is the title of a wonderful paper published in 2015 in Contemporary
Physics by physicists David Jennings and Matthew Leifer, No Return to
Classical Reality. Jennings and Leifer audaciously start their
paper with the fighting words, "At a fundamental level, the classical
picture of the world is dead, and has been dead now for almost a century."
This seemingly brash statement is fully backed by demonstrating that there
exist fundamental phenomena of quantum theory that cannot be understood in
classical terms. And as the authors state, "We now have a range of
precise statements showing that whatever the ultimate laws of Nature are,
they cannot be classical." I've touched on this topic before, and
written about it in my 2015 paper, Primacy of Quantum Logic in the Natural
World. Support can be found for the primacy of quantum logic in the
natural world in the cognitive sciences, where recent research studies
recognize quantum logic in studies of: the subconscious, decisions
involving unknown interconnected variables, memory, and question
sequencing. From my perspective as a reality shifts and Mandela Effect
researcher since 1998 (more than 20 years)--I'm absolutely thrilled by the
prospect of considering classical reality to be a special case and subset
of the greater and all encompassing quantum reality. And I'm
thrilled that recently, we're seeing ever-increasing evidence from
scientific researchers that Jennings and Leifer's bold assertion is quite
likely true. We are unquestionably now in the Quantum Age, and
reaching a point where many of us can see that there indeed is no return to
classical reality.

In 2014, shortly after “Professor
Proton” died on the TV show, “The Big Bang
Theory,” I saw Jim Parsons (Sheldon) interviewed about Bob
Newhart on TV. The cast was quite upset about Bob Newhart's death. I don't
remember what was going on in my life at the time; nothing exceptional. So
many people remember Bob Newhart's dying and what a big deal it was when
the character that he played, Dr. Proton, died on The Big Bang Theory, and
then Bob Newhart actually died. Now he's alive. Wow. Ths is me being
shocked to find this one out.
Note from Cynthia: Wow--I know what you mean about having such a
memorable marker in time, such as Dr. Proton dying on The Big Bang Theory,
and then Bob Newhart actually dying in real life. I have no idea
how I missed out on both Bob Newhart having been on the show--and even
winning an Emmy for it--but also him having died, too. I'm
intrigued how reality shifts and Mandela Effects can often affect people
very uniquely from one another--so for me the truly bizarre thing is that
these marvelous episodes featuring Bob Newhart now exist, which I've not
heard about or seen before! And for you, Bob Newhart is alive
again, thank goodness!

I Saw Raiders of the Lost Ark before it was released

I started college in 1979, so the end of my freshman year
was 1980; I spent that summer living with my cousin in Kansas City. This
was the only year that I did this. During that summer of 1980, we went to
see the movie, “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” four times.
And yet, when I looked it up recently, every place I look at says that the
movie came out in 1981. But for me, the summer of 1980 was particularly
memorable, and Raiders is a part of those memories! I only discovered this
weirdness this year and, unfortunately my cousin, aunt and uncle are all
dead, so no corroboration is available.
Note from Cynthia: I love the way you have such clearly
definitive time markers like this, so it’s really obvious that
some kind of reality shift has definitely occurred. Outstanding! Have you
talked with your cousin about what summer they remember having seen Raiders
of the Lost Ark four times with you? Not that it
matters–sometimes, other people remember completely different
things. And I find that equally fascinating, that even when you think
you’ve got someone to share a reality shift or Mandela Effect
with, that may or may not be the case.

Hi Cynthia,
I hate to bother you, but since you are an
expert in the field, I was hoping maybe you could shed some light on this
for me. I was at the Body, Mind, Spirit expo in Denver yesterday and ad my
aura photographed by Inner Light Aura Photos. I have never had an aura that
looked like this before, but it is all white. No other colors. The lady
that was interpreting it for me didn't want to say what was coming to her,
but I got it out of her that she sees me dying. Well, as you can imagine,
that freaked me out a bit. I did some research myself and found that most
people say that it is a sign of higher dimensions and high spiritual
awareness, transcendental and what not. That seems to be the general
consensus. I do NOT want to die. I am only in my fifties and plan on living
for many many more years. I spoke with a Shaman about this and she told me
that she does not believe that that is a sign of death, but a sign of
enlightenment and that she feels that I am a galactic spirit.Maybe even
from another galaxy than our Milky Way. More things to look into, but I
have attached a picture of the photo that they printed for me so that you
can see for yourself the all white aura. So, I was hoping that maybe you
could shed some more light on this for me. I am sorry I do not have any
money that I can give you and I hope you have the time and the inclination
to help me out here. I would be very grateful to you if you would please.

Thank you for writing to me with your question. My short response
is that the color white does not indicate impending death, but instead
typically indicates, as the caption of your photo suggests, 'transcendent,
higher consciousness.' I share in my book Aura Advantage several pieces of
information about white auras, such as:
"Saints and enlightened masters are often said to radiate completely
white light, with occasional highlights of gold or violet.
Over the past hundred years, there has been some discussion among
modern-day mystics such as the Theosophists and Edgar Cayce about white
auras being preferable to colored auras. The main reason given for this is
that white light does not interfere with one’s perception of the
world, whereas all other colors present a biased impression of reality.
The expression, “seeing the world through rose-colored
glasses” is an example of this, as a person who views the world
through rose-colored glasses or a rose-colored aura will see everything in
that rosy hue, whereas someone who has lots of darkness in their aura will
tend to see the world as a dark and foreboding place. People who wish to
aspire to seeing the world as it is will therefore aspire to a white
aura."

Yes, the author and experiencer of reality shifts indeed does share some
experiences quite similar to the reality shifts that I and others have been
writing about for decades. PMH Atwater first reported reality
shifts in her excellent book, "Future Memory," which includes seemingly
impossible events having occurred, such as someone having taken a
photograph of a place he'd been to--yet he hadn't been there yet.
The authors, Andreas and Sven Kolbow, also shares many of the same points
of view and perspectives that I've shared in my website and books--such as
the importance of levels of self, including the subconscious. So yes, I'd
say these authors are looking at the same phenomena that we've been
