Lyrics in my Song Changed
Harve Mann
Los Angeles, California, USA
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harve_Mann
A minor regret of mine over the years has been that when I
first wrote and recorded my song, ‘Shine Your Love,' in the
chorus I used the word ‘to’ instead of
‘for.' I grew to prefer the latter after performing the tune
live for a while. It was a small thing that I knew didn’t make
much difference. Still, whenever I’d hear that record play on
the jukebox at one of my gigs, that line would always needle me a little
bit. On some sad level, it probably kept me from putting a hundred percent
of my energy behind the record. YOU MAY TOUCH A STRANGER WITH A KIND WORD
THAT YOU SAY AND INSPIRE HIM TO DO THE SAME TO/ FOR SOME OTHER ON ANOTHER
DAY. When Tiny Tim recorded this song, he learned it from my record, so he
used the word ‘to’ as well. I love Tiny’s
version, and at this point this slight difference in the line
doesn’t really bother me. There were some life lessons there
for me, particularly one involving patience and not releasing things
prematurely. Today, on a whim, I turned on my ancient record player to
hear one of my favorite 45s, Ben Krass singing ‘My Blue
Heaven,’ with it’s flip side, ‘When The
Saints Go Marching In.' I recalled always enjoying the exuberant way he
sang the intro to ‘My Blue Heaven.' Turns out that intro is in
on ‘When The Saints’ and not the side I remembered it
on. It had been a while since I’d heard the record, so I
chalked it up to faulty memory. I also always thought his name on the disc
had a middle initial, ‘E.’ But evidently, I was
wrong there as well. After not thinking too much about this, I decided to
check out that old 45 of me doing “Shine Your Love.' I listened
to it five times to be sure of what I heard. It now says ‘FOR A
STRANGER’ and not ‘TO A STRANGER.’ These
Mandela Effects always give me hope that anything is possible.
Note from Cynthia: Oh, WOW! I love this so much, and thank you
for sharing this with me! I have now experienced two of my creations (two
books) change on me. One of them made a change that now treats my
vegetarian readership with much more compassion, since my book,
Aura Advantage, no longer includes a paragraph about my salad
telepathically communicating with me. I used to get a few emails a year
from people saying how disturbing that idea was to them, and so I was
relieved to stop receiving those concerned email messages, and feel better
knowing my book no longer offends people in that way, which I certainly did
not intend when I wrote the book. There is something truly noteworthy to me
about these changes to our artistic creations, since we have such strong
memories of how things used to be, and in both of these cases, with your
song "Shine Your Love," and my book, "Aura Advantage," it's wonderful to
experience being in an editorially improved reality.

Denver airport mural changed
Matthew
Sammamish, Washington, USA
I have an interesting change I’ve noticed, but
I’m not sure if it’s a Mandela effect. I feel this
one may just be internet censorship-alteration, but I’m curious
if you are aware of this. The Denver airport had some disturbing murals
and artwork on the premises when it opened. In particular, there was a
large mural with dozens of masked children from all over the world. Their
masks had the flags of their countries. I had found this so disturbing
that I showed it to people more than a dozen times myself over at least a
20 year period. I recently went to pull it up to show it once again, and
the masks are gone. Multiple websites claim this was a conspiracy, was
never at the airport, and an artist did a similar painting in 2020 which is
how this “conspiracy” started. I had never before
seen this artist’s work. The new mural (attached), looks poorly
done as I don’t think the faces look right. There are still
creepy paintings that can be pulled up on line; one showing a dead child in
a coffin, and what appears to be a foreign soldier in a gas mask, holding a
rifle with bayonet, and a sword in his other hand stabbing a dove, in
addition to other disturbing images certainly not appropriate for an
airport. Maybe these will go missing soon as well. The artwork by the
Philippine artist named CJ Trinidad (called
“Maskcommunication”) is certainly not what I
remember, and I had never seen that artwork until recently. I remember the
same mural that I sent you, but with the children in masks. On a side
note, my brother and I have been watching the changing geography of the
planet with amazement. Most recently, Iceland and Greenland. They appear
farther north than we remember, and Greenland is about to be on the North
Pole soon. We’ve noted the change in location of Australia for
years, and Cuba certainly seems different. Which timeline will we see
today? Certainly keeping things interesting.
Note from Cynthia: How interesting that you remember the children
being masked in Denver International Airport's mural, 'Children of the
World Dream of Peace." The part of this that sounds like a Mandela
Effect to me is that you so clearly recall that the children were wearing
masks, and you remember that those masks had flags of the world on them,
and this was the mural that you showed people at the Denver Airport over a
couple of decades. This art installation created by the artist Leo
Tanguma was originally installed at the Denver airport. Thank you for
pointing out that the artwork by the Philippine artist is not what you
remember, and also doesn't match your recollection of specifically showing
people the weird art with children wearing flag masks. And now that
you mention it, I've also noticed how Iceland and Greenland seem to be
moving north.
Possible Mandela Effect with Home Alone
movie
Autumn
Riverview, Michigan, USA
I'm wondering if you've heard anything about a possible
mandela effect in the movie, “Home Alone”?
Specifically about the title of the fictitious movie Kevin watches. I'm not
sure if you're familiar with the movie, but I watch it every year at this
time. In the movie, Kevin watches a movie, and I would have sworn that the
title was “Angels with Dirty Faces.” I watched the
movie today, and the title is “Angels with Filthy
Souls.” Quite different. I couldn't believe my eyes, and I
have specific memories about discussing the silly title with someone years
ago as well as looking it up to find that it's a fake movie, just for Home
Alone. So now when I google “Angels with Dirty Faces,”
I see that it's a real movie from the 1930s! And now it says that
“Angels with Filthy Souls” is a parody of that. I
don't know how I could have gotten that so wrong, and it's frustrating that
I can't find any evidence, but I'm sure that it was different before. Have
you heard anyone else mention this? I would love to know if anyone else
remembers it the way I do.
Note from Cynthia: I've not watched that movie, and keep meaning
to catch it at some point, but now it seems unlikely I'd notice or catch
such a change, if and when I finally get around to watching, "Home
Alone." I do know that "Angels with Dirty Faces" is a real movie,
starring James Cagney, if I remember correctly (not looking this up, just
going on memory)! ANd having said all this, I'm glad you shared
this with me, because I have a feeling that you're not the only person
who's noticed this. I'd love to hear from anyone else who noticed a change
like this in the "Home Alone" movie!
Fruit of the Loom logo change
Cristina
Portland, Oregon, USA
To add to your collection of the Fruit of the Loom logo
changes, here’s my story. I’m 71, and when I was 8-9
years old, one of my chores was to fold the laundry. Besides my dad, I had
four brothers. Fruit of the Loom brand at that time made T-shirts for men
and boys. I remember when folding their laundry, coming across the logo of
fruit pouring out of a weird pointy-ended basket, and asking my mom what
kind of basket that was, and her replying to me that it was a
“horn of plenty.” It seems that when I was older, in
my teens or early 20s that I heard the basket was also called a cornucopia.
Decades later, in the 2000s, I purchased some T-shirts made by Fruit of the
Loom and remember puzzling over the logo, thinking they changed it, removed
the horn of plenty/cornucopia, and wondering what prompted the change.
Companies sometimes do change or update their logos, but that is usually
publicized well ahead of time. I just assumed that I missed the
announcement. Then I came across you and your research on the Mandela
Effect, and learned that the Fruit of the Loom logo was included in the
Mandela Effect. Also, I read the books channeled by Paul Selig. His Guides
have recently been teaching about the malleability of the material realm,
of form. This is a new teaching and starts to show up in their most recent
books and channeled lectures. You might find them interesting or pertinent
to your work, as they also address the concept of linear time as a human
construct. Their lectures on time leave my mind truly discombobulated! You
can check out some of their older lectures at Paul Selig’s
YouTube channel, to decide if you want to buy any of their books.
Paul’s books are the unedited transcripts of the Guides
lectures.
Note from Cynthia: Thank you for sharing your detailed
experiences with remembering the Fruit of the Loom logo including a curved
basket feature, that is sometimes called a horn of plenty or
cornucopia. Many of us who remember the logo-that-doesn't-exist
have considered the possibility that this might have been some kind of
official corporate logo change, yet that does not appear to have ever been
the case. With regard to time, I've got a page dedicated to a
variety of interesting time shifts posted on the realityshifters website

Richard Chamberlain alive again
Rose
Keswick, Virginia, USA
I’ve been following your work with great interest
for many years, and have written a few times about various things. Well
anyway, today my husband showed me an online photo of the actor Richard
Chamberlain, currently age 88! Age 88?! What? Not dead years ago?! I wonder
whether any of your other readers remember this man passing away sometime
in the past. He starred as Dr. Kildare when I was a child, and I was
smitten. Ditto when he played Father Ralph de Bricassart on The Thorn
Birds, a TV miniseries. When I heard he had passed away, I was very sad to
hear it. Well, today I am happy to know he is alive (again?)! I wish I
could remember better when I heard that he had died, but I’m
guessing it was around 25 years or so ago; it seems like he was in his mid-
to late-50’s. Of course you have permission to share my
experience with your readers! I’d love to know whether anyone
else has this ‘alternate memory’!
Note from Cynthia: Thank you so much for sharing your
recollection that Richard Chamberlain had previously passed away, although
quite fortunately and wonderfully, apparently the truth is that he is alive
and well! I personally don’t have a clear recollection
of him having passed away before, but then he wasn’t really on
my radar. I would love to hear from others who might remember that he did
die, and if so, when.
