The hundreds of first-hand accounts of reality shifts (aka:
mind-matter interaction MMI, quantum jumping, glitches in the Matrix) on
this and the following pages have been collected and shared through Cynthia
Sue Larson's RealityShifters since 1999. Special issues focusing on
particular types of reality shifts (such as: the Dead seen Alive Again,
Seeing Loved Ones Before They Arrive, Invisibility, Walking through Walls,
etc.) can be found by browsing through the RealityShifters
archives and subscribing to the (free) monthly ezine. Hundreds of stories
are reported here in this "Your RealityShifter Stories" section of this web
site, and the phenomenon is documented in the best-selling book, Reality Shifts: When Consciousness Changes the
Physical World.
Moving Squirrel Town
Raven Skydancer
Oakhurst, California
I live in the woods, near Yosemite National Park, where we have an
abundance of wild life. Bears, mountain lions, deer, bobcats, plenty of
rattlesnakes and little critters of all kinds. I had a group of
ground squirrels living near my home that started to become a nuisance.
These ground squirrels are not unlike tree squirrels, except they burrow
into the ground and make hundreds of pesky little
holes about 4 inches in diameter. Well, I am ashamed to say that I took my
shotgun and started killing them. I had to quit doing that, though, because
it bothered my conscience too much. I thought about asking High Self to
make them go away, but deep down I knew the critters had more right to be
here than I did.. I was the interloper, not them. My house was built right
where they wanted to dig... so they dug.
Then it dawned on me to simply go out into the middle of Squirrel Town,
introduce myself properly to all the little squirrels and simply explain
that their digging was interfering with my life. "I can't move my house, so
I would like for you all to move out on the side of a hill not too far
away. 50 yards maybe." I walked out to the hill, while telling all the
little squirrels what a wonderful new place
this would be for them to burrow into.
What can I say? In two days the squirrels, every one of them, left the
vicinity of my house and moved out there to the side of the hill that is
now literally full of holes.
I told this story to a lady I knew to be quite metaphysical and spiritual,
like myself. She said she did much the same thing in a rental place she had
moved into that was infested with cockroaches. She said the next morning
all the cockroaches were gone. She simply asked them to leave and they did.
Working Water Pump
Raven Skydancer
Oakhurst, California
Once I was very sick with a prolonged illness. I was extremely tired and
weak. I live in a remote area where I get my water from my own 600 foot
water well. On this particular
day, my well stopped pumping water. Oh... what a bad feeling that was! I
did all the button pushing, breaker checking, and searching for loose
connections that I knew how to use, but the well still wouldn't
start. This meant I would have had to call my Service Man, and then it
might have been three days before he could get here, search for the
problem, and fix it. The cause of the problem
could have been any number of things, including a burned-out pump. If the
problem was caused by the pump, it would take a week or more to fix. That
would be a long time without water for my wife and I.
So, I was sick and emotionally depressed. I laid down on the ground just to
keep from falling down. As I lay there, I spoke with my High Self, saying
something like, "Father, I am too sick to handle
this problem, I don't know what to do." When I'm this sick I don't think
very well... I then said, "Father, I have to turn this over to you, I am
totally within your arms. Hold me, Help me."
As I lay there for a few minutes, my strength came back to me. I got up,
went back over to the control box, with a half dozen buttons to push, and I
pushed the first button. This time, the pump came on, and it ran steady for
a couple more weeks. When I finally felt like calling the well man, he
decided to pull the pump. When he brought it to the surface, the wires were
bare, all chewed up from my pump banging around in the hole, since the
dampener had broken (the dampener keeps the pump from doing all that
banging around). The well man looked at me with those bare wires in his
hand, and said he had no idea what kept that pump running as long as it
did. Fortunately, the pump was OK, it just needed a new dampener and some
wire.
Later I read something about an experiment at Princeton University, "1987,
physicist Robert G. Jahn and clinical psychologist Brenda J. Dunne, both at
Princeton University, announced
that after a decade of rigorous experimentation by their Princeton
Engineering Anomolies Research Laboratory, they had accumulated unequivocal
evidence that the mind can psychically interact with
physical reality. More specifically, Jahn and Dunne found that through
mental concentration alone, human beings are able to affect the way certan
kinds of machines operate." One kind of a machine I know for certain that
this works on, is a "Deep Well Water Pump." I suggest that Science and
Metaphysics are coming together on many fronts.
Rice Appears
Dean
Kidderminster, Worcestershire, UK
My name is Dean and I'm from a town in the UK called Kidderminster, famous
for carpets and Sir Rowland Hill, inventor of the postage stamp.
Impressive, eh? Well, not much happens around here ;-)
I'm 31 and my passion in life is consciousness expansion and energy
manipulation. I've always loved the Everett-Wheeler-Graham (EWG) theory of
multiple universes, and reality shifting sits perfectly in line with that
model in my mind. I always think of living in multiple universes as just
stepping into the universe next door.
I had a lovely reality shift today as I was doing my shopping. My local
Sainsbury's have discontinued Camargue Red rice, much to my chagrin, as
it's tasty gorgeous. Anyway, I was strolling down the rice section
thinking, "They'll still not have any," when I decided to shift my thinking
and see what happened. I kid you not, but right in front of me was a shelf
full of two different kinds of Camargue rice. Lovely stuff :-)
