Small but Delightful Shift

I sleep in the daytime mostly (work nights). One of my favorite things
to do is wake up about an hour early,go get a cup of coffee and put it
on an electric coaster by the bed, doze for awhile and then wake up
slowly with my coffee. Its one of my happy times of the day-total
indulgence. I always had an extension cord to the coaster because
there was no electrical outlet close enough. There was a phone jack
there(behind the bed) that I never have used because people tend to
call and wake me up.
Last week my Rott(en)weiler pup chewed through the extension cord.( I
hope he unplugged it first- he seems fine). I went two days without my
little routine and finally decided that I'd have to go out sleepy or
not and buy another cord. Before I ever had a chance to go I dropped
something and had to scoot the bed over to get it--and the phone jack
was not there, but an electrical outlet WAS. YIPPEE!
Now I'm back to spoiling myself when I wake up- but with an extra
happy thankfulness that makes the day even better!
Sparrow Flew through Bird Net

One of the strangest things I've ever witnessed happened to me on May 20th
this year when I was out at the chicken yard. It's a big yard, fully fenced
and gated and almost completely surrounded by bird netting on top and all
sides. There are a few narrow slits around the netting where some birds can
get in around the gate and fence pole areas. I saw that a sparrow had
gotten in to steal some grain. I like to catch the intruders and get them
out before they get hung up and die in the netting, so I was keeping an eye
on this sparrow.
This little guy flitted around and around, escaping me several times, until
finally he landed on the southeast part of the pen where there's a solid
wall of fencing. He managed to get through to the cyclone wire fencing, and
was pushing against the exterior bird netting to no avail. Suddenly, I saw
him just go through the netting and escape to a nearby tree.
Now you have to understand that the exterior bird netting has holes that
are way too small to allow his escape. Each hole in the netting is about
1/2 inch big, which is far too small for even baby sparrows to get through.
I immediately went around to check for holes in the netting where he got
through, checking each and every inch both across and down by rows and
columns over a good two square foot area. There were NO HOLES big enough
for him to get through. This bird went through the bird netting like a
knife through butter.
I've never seen this before. Other birds have escaped through slits between
the netting and the fence, but this was not like that. He simply went
through a solid piece of netting. This is something that most folks
wouldn't even notice, or realize what happened, since they wouldn't be
paying attention to it. Maybe this sort of thing has happened before around
me, and I wasn't paying attention to it... but this time, I did. I was
shocked to the bone.
Money Manifestation

I had a money manifestation once in which I spent nearly all my cash, and I
knew that I only had $4 left one day. A few days earlier, I had spent all
the money I had in my wallet, and I remember distinctly having exactly four
dollars left. A few days later, I wanted to go to a nearby corner market to
buy some soda, but thought I wouldn't be able to afford it with the money I
had because I knew I only had four dollars. I looked inside my wallet, and
lo and behold, I had seven dollars there! The bill at the corner market,
interestingly enough, came to $6.23 as I recall.
The other times I had a money manifestation was when $10 appeared in my
wallet right when I needed it and once a mysterious envelope appeared to my
mom with, I think it was $50, and a note that said that they were moved to
give the money after prayer. The letter was anonymous, and no one we knew
would have given it. We would have seen it. That one was the most
interesting, magical to me so far. But, that wasn't what happened with the
latest. Just an additional $3 to my $4. I love it when it happens. :)
The one thing with money manifestations that comes to mind when I get them
is the "just enough" factor. There is usually just enough money. I wish it
worked that way with the lottery, hehe.
