Conspire to Create A Positive Reality

Imagine for a moment that you and your friends are the ones in charge of steering the course of events on Earth for the next year. Regardless who appears to be in power in the form of national figureheads and elected officials, consider the idea that it's actually you and a few of your best friends who wield the true power in the world. In this very different kind of conspiracy, you are the ones making the choices; you are the ones whose decisions are final regarding what happens; you are the ones who determine how everything plays out. Notice how simply imagining that you can change the world makes a difference, as you feel a new sense of connection to the Earth and everything happening on it.

This thought experiment raises the question, "What is it about manifestation and reality creation that most appeals to you?" Whether you're inspired by the whimsical fancy of characters like Samantha in Bewitched, or feel like bringing peace and healing to yourself and others, your motivating thoughts and feelings make all the difference. I've found that enjoyable reality shifts happen most frequently around me when I'm visualizing the desired outcome, feeling a great deal of love in my heart, and feeling a sense of power in my 'gut' or second chakra. This past weekend I experienced a remarkable reality shift in which my friend's missing eyeglasses materialized after a very thorough search of the house. My friend commented that the glasses were not anywhere they would be expected to be... not in pockets or on a table or chair. We retraced steps around the house, and still did not see them anywhere, including in my friend's car or out on the street near the car. I asked my friend to describe the glasses to me, and gained a clear impression of what the glasses looked like in their case. I then felt how much I loved my friend as we walked once more around the house, visualizing what the glasses looked like, and feeling relaxed and confident with a great deal of love. On the very next stroll through my kitchen, I heard a soft 'thump' sound one pace behind where I'd just walked. I spun around to see what had made the noise, and was stunned to see the glasses in their case sitting on the kitchen floor where no glasses had been before!

The beauty of working with friends to conspire to create a positive reality is that you gain additional Qi, or energy, when working with others you love. You may have already noticed that when your heart feels expansive and loving, all manner of assistance comes to you from every conceivable direction. As researchers at the HeartMath Institute have shown, the electromagnetic field of your heart is huge, and is easily capable of producing a field of energy that is felt far away from your body.

It demonstrates, he said, that the brain is capable of being trained and physically modified in ways few people can imagine.

I recently discovered your web site, and find it fascinating. I have a story that I now believe must have been a reality shift. One morning as I was getting ready for work, I put both my earrings on, as I so often do. I looked in the mirror and saw them both hanging there on my ears like they are supposed to. Later that day when my hand reached up toward one ear, I realized one of my earrings was gone. This discovery distressed me, because these were some of my favorite earrings, and I had no idea where I could have lost one. That night, I hung the remaining earring on my earring screen, hoping that some day I'd find the one I had lost... and there on the screen was my missing earring! I always wondered how that happened. Now I know.

Articles that consider how one thing might be in two places at the same time have recently raised the question: 'Is Nature doing it, or what/who is?' I submit that as long as physical sciences limit their explorations to only data from their devices, they will remain frustrated. I submit that there is ample data from our larger world concerning phenomena such as they wish to study.I submit that the scientific study of data on 'doppelgangers' will be fruitful. We are each said to have a 'doppelganger', a double of ourselves, which may act independently. Here are some interesting items... THIS is where application of quantum theory might be enlightening:

[a] In several places I have lived, people said they just saw me elsewhere in town.
[b] When I became enthused about astrology while teaching social research methodology, I attended a regional sociological conference in Seattle. Upon my return several other professors on my faculty said they had entered one of the lecture rooms at the conference and attended a lecture by me on the subject of astrology and sociology. I know, in this mind, that I did not - but would have loved to.
[c] A lady in Anchorage was taking admissions at a metaphysical program when a man she knew hurried in and got his ticket at the very last moment. The next morning she met the man, who profusely apologized for being unable to attend the event which he had so wanted to do.
[d] The great teacher Yogananda tells of meeting his master on a train who handed him some sweets he had left behind. Those at home denied that at that time the master had ever left their sides.
[e] We may perhaps disregard the case of Swedenborg at a banquet giving his fellows a running account of the distant capital city burning, which he said he was watching with his own eyes. It could have been remote viewing.
[f] I myself managed in 1972 what I regarded as an out-of-body trip to visit a certain girl - however, she reported that she had received me with affection in material form.

I was sixteen when I found out. The year was 1968. My father and I were in the kitchen, he, in his usual talk-spot by the pantry door, my sixteen year-old self in a chair by the window. The two of us were reminiscing about the time I was a little girl, learning to write the letters of the alphabet. We remembered that, under his guidance, I'd learned to write all of the letters very quickly except for the letter 'R'.

"Until one day," I said to my father, "I realized that to make an 'R' all I had to do was first write a 'P' and then draw a line down from its loop. And I was so surprised that I could turn a yellow letter into an orange letter just by adding a line."
"Yellow letter? Orange Letter?" my father said. "What do you mean?"
"Well, you know," I said. "'P' is a yellow letter, but 'R' is an orange letter. You know - the colors of the letters."
"The colors of the letters?" my father said.

It had never come up in any conversation before. I had never thought to mention it to anyone. For as long as I could remember, each letter of the alphabet had a different color. Each word had a different color too (generally, the same color as the first letter) and so did each number. The colors of letters, words and numbers were as intrinsic a part of them as their shapes, and like the shapes, the colors never changed. They appeared automatically whenever I saw or thought about letters or words, and I couldn't alter them.

I had taken it for granted that the whole world shared these perceptions with me, so my father's perplexed reaction was totally unexpected. From my point of view, I felt as if I'd made a statement as ordinary as "apples are red" and "leaves are green" and had elicited a thoroughly bewildered response. I didn't know then that seeing such things as yellow P's and orange R's, or green B's, purple 5's, brown Mondays and turquoise Thursdays was unique to the one in two thousand persons like myself who were hosts to a quirky neurological phenomenon called synesthesia. Later in my life, I would read about neuroscientists at NIH and Yale University working to understand the phenomenon... But that day in the kitchen, my father and I, never having heard of synesthesia, both felt bewildered. For me, it was one of those coming-of-age moments when I glimpsed that the world might not really be as I had grown up perceiving it. It was a moment when that most basic of questions that binds human beings socially, "do you see what I see?" seemed to hang in a vacuum, independent of any shared context.

I suddenly felt marooned on my own private island of navy blue C's, dark brown D's, sparkling green 7's, and wine-colored v's. What else did I see differently from the rest of the world? I wondered. What did the rest of the world see that I didn't? It occurred to me that maybe every person in the world had some little oddity of perception they weren't aware of that put them on a private island, mysteriously separated from others. I suddenly had the dizzying feeling that there might be as many of these private islands as there were people in the world.

Q: I'm 15 and I read your comment at amazon.com on The Magus of Java. Do you think that it's just special people who can do that, or do you think if a person meditated for hours every day then they could do it?

A: A great deal of very special training is required before someone can start fires several feet away from their hands, move objects without touching them, and consciously control electrical currents in one's body as John Chang, the Magus of Java, does. While some people can learn such things more easily than others, many years of disciplined training is required with someone who has mastered such arts.
