Q:
I am slightly confused. I have been shifting reality (my definition) since
I was 11. I live by the axiom "Reality is what you create." Since reality
is what a person perceives at the moment and if of the same culture the
person and I will expect to see the next event of the sequence. If your
actions are different from what is preconceived than you have shifted
reality to your reality. At that moment your reality is reality and you can
use it to to make a sick person feel better if in the reality you created
they are better. However, you did not make them well they simply conformed
to the current reality and made themselves feel better. I do not understand
your principle of items vanishing and reappearing as being a shift in
reality. A person alone is in a singular reality if they have a quarter in
their hand than the coin is no longer there and the coin returns that is
not a shift in reality. The singular reality is they misplaced a coin and
than found said coin. It makes no difference if the coin was lost in the
sofa or slipped into another dimension for three minutes only to reappear.
Both situations fit the same reality it was lost than found. So nothing
happened and there was no shift in reality. Your reliance on a physically
present item to prove a shift in reality is illogical. Reality is awareness
of your current situation and is enhanced but not based on the physical
items surrounding you. I am in no way saying these items did not do as
written on this sites forum posts. I am asking what does that have to do
with shifting reality. I read the first 20 pages, which was all that was on
the site, of your book. I agreed with all you wrote and tried to buy the
book online. No one was selling it, might be out of print. At any rate I
surfed the net and found your references to items shifting. I would
appreciate a reply. Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,

Dear Clay,
Thanks so much for writing to me! I'm very glad to hear that you've been
aware of and observing the way thoughts and feelings influence the physical
world since you were eleven years old, and that you are keenly aware that
reality is what we create! My book,
Reality Shifts: When Consciousness Changes the Physical World is
currently available only in ebook format through the realityshifters.com
web site shop at:

There are a variety of ways that people observe and describe reality
shifts, and while the "vanishing/reappearing item" type of reality shift is
perhaps the most commonly discussed, some other commonly reported types of
reality shifts include: people being noticed to be alive again who had been
dead, injuries and illnesses vanishing (such as broken bones, cuts,
blisters, tumors), loops in time (in which the exact same sequence of
events repeats), time overlaps (in which a person interacts with someone
from the past or future), great distances being covered in very short
amounts of time, traffic lights and weather changing instantaneously in
tandem with one's thoughts, spoon bending with one's thoughts, broken
things being whole and fully functional without being repaired, empty
containers (including gas tanks) being full without being refilled, money
appearing in a wallet, food appearing on the counter, shelves and in the
refrigerator (sometimes audibly), lights being flipped on or off without
switches being touched, changing something from the past (such as the text
in an old book), and objects teleporting from one location to another.
reality shift (ree al' i tee shift), n. 1. the manifestation of
objects appearing, disappearing, transforming and transporting. 2. changes
in the way we experience time. 3. any sudden, abrupt alteration of physical
reality with no apparent physical cause. 4. the source of synchronicity.
This definition of reality shifts is provided in a way that helps people
sharing a consensus physical reality to discuss what has happened and what
is going on. Discussion about reality shifts is important, since human
relationships can otherwise encounter challenges when one person remembers
events occurring one way, and another recalls a completely different
situation. The article on this subject entitled,
When Worlds Collide: How Parallel Realities Can Heal Personal
Relationships provides both a description of how it feels to people
when such differences arise, as well as a productive way to help people
better communicate in a very challenging situation when both people feel
they are right about what really happened, and is available to read online

I currently know of no way to prove reality shifts, since physical evidence
and witnesses so often change right along with whatever else has changed,
resulting in my experiencing a reality in which people tell me "it's always
been like this," when I inquire about why a new structure has arisen
overnight, looking like it's been there for months or years. Regarding the
matter of an item which has disappeared, sometimes the reappearance occurs
at a very different time and place, making its reappearance dramatic and
noteworthy. My daughter's tooth was lost one day at school after it had
fallen out, and I was amazed when it reappeared a few inches above my hand
many hours later that evening as I was writing a note to myself about how
my daughter had lost her tooth at school that day. Such obvious reality
shifts clearly indicate to me that there has been a shift in reality, and
that something which had gone missing in one place has now been teleported
to another time and place where it was desired. You may be interested to
peruse the results from the first survey on reality shifts that was
conducted in 2000 which describe some of the most commonly reported types
of reality shifts. Those survey results are posted online at:
